Molokai Madness MMA is a small island start up on the with a BIG success surely coming their way. Straight out of Hoʻolehua Homestead member and MKK Madness CEO Sale Sproat took the chance with the help of MMA Fight Promotion Company X-1 World Events and fired up more than the kiawe wood on this night of Jan. 29 2011. Him and his fight club cowboys took to the ring, fist and HFG fight gear and for the 1st time showed the pleased crowd of its island population(maybe minus some Kupuna) how motivated they are in this balls out sport of MMA. Molokai Madness took control of the night after the second fight with consecutive wins throughout. Finally finishing off the night with Jireh Torres Umi in the main event. Feeding off of the crowds raging fire, Jireh did 1 thing; burn his opponent down grounding and pounding for 3 whole rounds. Until finally the ref put a stoppage to the fight resulting in an X-1 Outerisland Featherweight Championship belt for Jireh. Just in case you follow us on twitter and were wondering who WE run around with when on the Island of Molokai. Now you know… Molokai Madness

A great accomplishment by a really great guy.
This 2010 year has brought a lot of great accomplishments by guys WE dont just know but WE care a lot for. This write brings us to Makaha Beach on the westside of Oahu. Resident and steward of both land and sea Duane Desoto has a couple greats under his belt for the year 2010; Na Kama Kai(a non-profit that gives challenged keiki an opportunity to be a part of the ocean activities which Duane surrounds his lifestyle with) and The 2010 Oxbow World Longboarding Champion. If more Hawaiian people had the motivation that drives Duane, WE would be the rulers of our nation. Congratulations to our braddah Duane Desoto. This shows Hawaiians came a long way from being supressed both culturally and mentally.
On this last day of 2010 WE want to congratulate all the Hawaiians who have accomplished self gratitude(b/c you are 1st and foremost) and mega-mainstream media based accomplishments(anything the media makes a living off of).
